We are a travel team that competes state wide as well as around the country. Our head coach is Viktor Firsov, coach to Olympic gold-medalist Vladimir Artemov.
Central to our approach to competitive gymnastics training is that belief that it is the journey, not the destination or the result of any competition or contest that is most important. It is the mental soundness the gymnast develops or rather their intellectual fitness that is of the greatest value at JAG Training Center. It is indeed the process of our training and not the outcome of those efforts that is most strongly emphasized to all team members. We measure our success not by the number of trophies on the wall but rather by what each child can take with them when they leave the sport of gymnastics.
